Marble Repair in Central Singapore (Chips, Cracks & Hollow Tiles)

Dropped pans, moving furniture and old adhesive failing under the tile all leave their mark on marble. We fill chips and cracks with colour-matched resin, rebond or replace loose and hollow tiles, then hone and polish the area so the repair blends into the rest of the floor.

Marble Repair: what you should know

Filling vs replacing

Most chips and cracks can be filled with a stone-grade resin tinted to match the marble, then polished flush. Tiles that are cracked right through, rocking or badly broken are better replaced. If you have spare tiles from the original renovation, keep them: they make the best match.

Why tiles go hollow

Marble tiles are bedded on cement mortar or adhesive. Over the years, movement, gaps in the original bedding or water getting underneath can loosen the bond. A hollow tile is likely to crack under load, so it's worth fixing early.

Matching old marble

Natural marble varies from slab to slab. We match the background colour first, then add veins by hand where needed. After honing and polishing, a good repair is hard to spot from standing height.

Frequently asked questions

Can you repair a cracked marble tile without replacing it?

Often, yes. Hairline and narrow cracks are filled with colour-matched resin and polished flush. Tiles cracked right through or loose are better replaced.

Will the repair be visible?

From standing height a good repair is usually hard to see. Close up, a filled area may show slightly, especially on very light or very dark marble.

I don't have spare tiles. Can you still replace one?

We can source a close match for common marbles. For rare marble, we may take a tile from inside a wardrobe or under fixed furniture and fill that spot instead.

Do hollow tiles always need fixing?

Not always straight away, but hollow tiles crack easily under heavy furniture or dropped objects. Fixing them early is usually cheaper.

Want your marble shining again?

Send 3 or 4 photos of your marble on WhatsApp and get a price, usually the same day.
